I think most 4.5 year olds have a vivid imagination. Probably even imaginary friends. But do they have imaginary mountains? With thriving communities? It's kind of like a game of Sim City is taking place in BJ's head on a daily basis. Here's the rundown, straight from the source:
Rattlesnake Mountain
BJ's home has 400 bedrooms, 600 bathrooms (hey, gots to have lots of potties!), 650 living rooms, and a huge Rainbow play system.
How many people live on Rattlesnake Mountain? 14,700
He also has a dog named Spot. He's having babies on my birthday :)
There are 1,400 hundred horses and 4 ponies, 23 wild turkeys, and a huge Axis deer buck with 4 foot antlers. Not to mention the chickens, beta fish, and 4-wheelers. Tons of them.
Rattlesnake Mountain is currently located somewhere in Florida. Near the beach. It's the tallest mountain there. Yo! And it has lots of caves. But no Rattlesnakes.
I could go on and on. We talk about Rattlesnake Mountain on a daily basis. And it's amazing how much a part of BJ's life it is. Everyday there is something new. A new building, person, animal. It's great. And I completely encourage his imagination to run wild with it.
I've had many people ask me about Rattlesnake Mountain. Apparently BJ's invited his entire class at school to come hang out with him!

I find it interesting that Rattlesnake Mountain does not have rattlesnakes. Sounds like my kind of mountain.

Welllll, look who his mommy is! You are quite the imaginative, creative person too : ). I am always amazed by the things that comes out of BJ's mouth- I think he might be a "genius"!
Lucy's princesses have bitch fights over Prince Charming on a nightly basis. Does that count?
I think he might be a genius too! Even being able to get his mind around the 'numbers' of things is pretty impressive at that age. I don't think my kids were quoting in the 'thousands' about things when they were 4.5... I do agree with him that a house should have alot of potties :)I hope he has included alot of hired help in the scheme of things...that's alot of cleaning! LOL at Minivan's comment re: the princesses having nightly bitch fights :)
Hey! I want a house with 600 potties! That could be REALLY handy when I have a baby jumping on my bladder :)
