Four-legged Friendship

Molly came into my life 11 years ago, on my 24th birthday. She left my life just shy of my 36th birthday. Those 11 years were filled with some of the most important events in my life. Engagement, home-ownership, marriage, pregnancy, children, moving, and many, many vacations.

Molly was there for all of it.

Sadly, Molly left us before she had to because of cancer. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful memories of amazing time spent with our beloved family dog. My words cannot adequately express how much I love her and miss her everyday. She was always by my side – from sun up till sun down.

Melissa knows how much she meant to me, and for my birthday she gifted me with an amazing token to remind me of Molly.

I have such wonderful friends.

I’ll leave you with some of my favorites of Molly. There were hundreds, maybe even thousands of photos of her. Like I said, she was always nearby.

awe…this brought tears to my eyes. We had a dog that was alot like your Molly..by my side all the time (even when I didn’t want her there), protector of our kids and loved by the whole neighborhood.  We miss her still and she has been gone for 6 years.

Thanks, Adah!! It’s a special kind of love, even when you’re tripping over them because they follow you everywhere!

        Christy,
We are so sorry for your loss! We lost our beloved lab of 9 years, Sandie just two years ago today. She was such a big part of our family and we miss her terribly still.
        Love to all!

Brought tears to my eyes too.  It made me remember our dog Jack.  Our pets have a way of becoming real members of our families and we miss them just like we do our humans.  I’m so sorry for your loss.  Love and hugs Christy!

OMG Christy, you made me cry!  I love Molly and I so missed seeing her this weekend when we were visiting.  She always stayed with the kids whereever they were playing and well, she was part of your family.  Did I ever send you the videos you, me and Amanda did of Molly-Dawg *talking*?

Oh, Molly.  All those who knew you loved you. You will always be missed.

{sigh} Molly. I adored her and hadn’t even met her in real life.

And I have to admit the picture of her in the car with all the kids looking over the back set made me smile.

So, so sorry you lost her too soon.  Hugs.
