You Capture - Food

I haven't participated in You Capture in awhile. That makes me sad, but it's because I've so, so busy.

Busy baking cakes for 2 year old little princesses, among other things.

You Capture - Peace

This is my peace. My front porch. A comfy chair. The view of hills and big puffy white clouds. Silence. Gentle breezes. A slowly meandering deer looking for something to eat in my yard. Peace. Quiet. Heaven.

You Capture - Nature

Beth's assignment for You Capture this week was Nature. I am surrounded by nature every single day. I chose this bristle thistle as my subject this week. It is technically a weed, but so beautiful. The stem and foliage are so full of thorns, you don't want to get too close or it might bite you. Butterflies flock to them, bees wallow in them, even hummingbirds think they're sweet. Bristle thistles are one of our "wild flowers."

You Capture - Feel

This week was tough. I thought it over and my interpretation is how *I* feel toay. My best friend Lisa is visiting this week, and it makes me feel so happy!

This picture makes me feel so happy. My children and Lisa's children feel love for each other (most of the time), and I think it shows.
