We be illin'

ruby 2.0 is back and running beautifully. Thanks for everyone's concern and well wishes!! I have so much catching up/posting to do. BJ turned 6, and thankfully all of the photos from his party were recovered from the fried hard drive.

Right now we're dealing with the H1N1 flu. Apparently living out in the middle of nowhere doesn't make us immune to this crap.

BJ came down with it on Saturday early in the a.m. He's was laid up on the couch all weekend with a very high fever, poor boy. He didn't move, talk, or eat for 2 days. Getting him to drink water was a huge ordeal. He's almost back to normal today, but now Brian and I are coming down with it. Of course, he's in Houston, and I'm at home with the kiddos, but we both woke up feeling like we had lead weights in our chest, and the fever and chills have hit tonight. I'm just hoping that Mia doesn't come down with it, but she's 22 months old, and she touches everything and always has her hands in her mouth. So yeah, I'm just waiting.

Unbelievable

You know that fabulously wonderful new MacBook Pro I got one month ago today? Yeah, that one. Well today I'm celebrating our one month anniversary together, only she's not really in the partying mood because her hard drive crashed last night. Party pooper.

Go ahead, pick your jaw up off the floor.

That would make 2 hard drive crashes and one stolen laptop in the last 6 months.

What gives? My laptop luck SUCKS, apparently.

Aren't Macs supposed to be the bomb or something? Well, right now I really don't think so.

Tomorrow I'm taking ruby 2.0 to the Apple Doctor for surgery. Hopefully her recovery will be fast, because I have shit to do.
